Hi, I'm Ni Xiong.

I work across health, data, and technology: using data and digital tools to understand real healthcare problems and support better decisions and delivery.

Global health is the problem space I care about. Data, information systems, and computer science are how I work on it.

What I explore

Small experiments: things I try, learn, and make outside formal work.

Learning to skateboard. Tried it after moving to the U.S. Fell a lot; still enjoyable.

1,000

Finished it, piece by piece. A 1,000-piece puzzle.

Knitting. Picked it up as a small experiment.

Birdwatching. Tried birdwatching.

Courses taken from curiosity. Online courses taken because I wanted to know the material.

Exploring, one stamp at a time

After getting a car, I started exploring more of the U.S. and visiting national parks. Along the way, I began collecting a stamp from each park I visited. I hope that years from now, they will help me remember the places I went, the views I saw, and the good times I had along the way.
